How it Works…
Preparing for a photo shoot can be exciting with a pinch of daunting. You will be supported throughout the entire process, resulting in a relaxed and enjoyable session. I aim to create a trusting relationship with all my clients - as a mother of 3 children, I have experienced most of the emotions that feature in daily life. I also know how fast time flies, which fuels my passion for ensuring motherhood legacies are preserved in pictures x

All my sessions have an easy-breezy flow, with lots of natural, candid moments captured. I am here to capture your family’s story as you wish to remember it, with a session that is relaxed and filled with joyful memories.
For newborn and family sessions, I am child-led and support any big feelings that come up.
Maternity sessions involve a little more styling and posing, with space for wardrobe changes if you wish.
There is time for rest and hydration, it’s important Mama! x

In a nutshell, whatever makes you feel cute and comfortable! If you feel good during your session, you will most likely be glowing in your photos. There are several colours that are naturally beautiful in photos and these are neutral colours such as white, grey, sand, and more earthy colours such as mustard, rust, burgundy, olive, dusky pink. My session guide gives more tips and ideas!

Outdoor sessions are always best around sunset as the light is at its most beautiful, with softer shadows on skin. Sessions in your own home are usually photographed mid-morning as we can capture lovely pockets of light in your favourite rooms.
Maternity sessions are ideally booked for 30-36 weeks of pregnancy.
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed at 3-10 days of age if you would like sleepy portraits, but all the stages of babyhood are magical and I love photographing babies of all ages!

All my sessions (family and newborn) are child-led, and I make sure that we have plenty of time to settle in and create some magical moments. I have 3 children of my own and I’ve experienced all the big emotions, including our own family photo shoots! I have treats and games on hand to make the session joyful and relaxed for little ones, and I have never had a session where I haven’t captured smiles and giggles at some point. Personality is always welcomed, however, and sultry faces from kids and dads can add character to a photo collection! x

Things come up, I know. If someone in your family is sick, please let me know as soon as possible and we can rearrange for another day. If we’ve planned an outdoor session and the rain is pouring, then we can reschedule. A little mist always adds to the atmosphere though, and overcast skies can be beautifully dramatic x

Absolutely, I love nothing more than seeing gorgeous family memories printed big for walls and photo books! My children take so much delight in seeing our sweet moments captured and displayed in our home, and I know my clients’ families feel the same too. Studies have even shown that displaying photos of your children can increase their confidence. I have an online store that makes ordering easy, with beautiful keepsake products so that you can treasure your pictures in frames, albums or memory boxes.
