Light seeker, memory collector, hopeful romantic, wilderness explorer, deep listener, and sensual creative.
My journey towards newborn and family photography began while I was in the waves of the newborn and toddler years. Those blissful, exhausting days which can feel so long and yet fly by in the blink of a shutter.
My children are now 12, 9 and 4, and I can sincerely state with my hand on my heart, that these really are the golden days. If time travel ever becomes a thing, mothers of older children will be the first on board… but in the meantime, we’re lucky to be able to relive these moments in these treasures we call photographs.
There are a ton of challenges too, I know them well, they’re my greatest teachers in life. These mountains are my why in photography. We mothers pour our body, mind and soul into growing these little hearts, and the essence of this ferocious love deserves to be captured for eternity.
Pieces of Me:
My name Amy Lucinda means ‘Beloved Light’
I grew up in a scenic, rural English town with a family of artists of many forms. My dad taught me how to see the light with pencil drawings from a young age. I remember standing in front of a mirror sketching myself as a young girl!
My family has recently returned to England, after living in Australia for 9 beautiful, adventurous years
I love to dabble in self-portraiture, both solo and with my children. Our ever-evolving bodies deserve some appreciation for growing these little stardust souls
